Eligibility Criteria

• A Master Degree in the respective discipline or equivalent with a minimum of 60% of marks.
• A Bachelor’s Degree with 60% of marks or equivalent CGPA.
• The master’s degree could be an Engineering/ Technology/Sciences/ Management/ Humanities/ Social Sciences.

For Teaching-cum-Research Fellowship (TRF)

• A Master Degree in the respective discipline with 70% marks or equivalent CGPA.
• A Bachelor’s Degree with a 60% of marks or equivalent CGPA.

Candidates can apply for admission by visiting the NSIT website www.imsnsit.org or apply through the direct link given on this page. Read all the admission related information provided on the official website carefully. Generate Your New Application Number and Password. Login and fill the registration form with Basic info and upload Photo, Signature and Thumb Impression in Upload photo tab. Pay Application Fee of Rs.1000.00/- from the payment tab. Take a print Application Form after making payment.

Admission Procedure of NSIT Ph.D Admission 2023

• There will be an Entrance Test and an Interview to admit the Research Scholars in the two-stage process.
• Only those candidates who have secured a minimum qualifying mark of 50% in the entrance test shall be called for an interview.
• The relative weightage of the entrance test and the interview shall be 70% and 30% (including 10% weightage on credentials) respectively.
• The eligible candidates are required to make a PowerPoint presentation of approximately 10 minutes in the area of their research interest/ teaching interest.

Interview Process

• The Interview Committee shall judge the following:
• The candidate possesses aptitude and competence to carry out the research in the intended area.
• The proposed research idea can be suitably undertaken in the Department and may contribute to the creation of new/additional knowledge in the chosen area.
• The committee shall also judge the teaching ability of the candidates in addition to the parameters as prescribed above.
• Interview for Teaching–cum-Research Fellowship and all other candidates shall be organized separately.

For Candidates from R&D Organizations/Institutions/PSUs/Industries

• Such candidates having MOU(s) with Netaji Subhas University of Technology
• They may be exempted from the entrance examination and can be called directly for the interview.
• The applicant should have at least two years’ experience in regular capacity.
• He/She can devote sufficient time to pursue research in the concerned Department of the NSIT on daily basis or sufficient facilities for research are available at the applicant’s place of work in the chosen field of research provided the same is approved by the BRS as his/her second place of work.
• He/she shall be required to reside at the NSIT till the completion of his/her course work.
• For the candidate working in the Delhi NCR, this condition of minimum residence shall be automatically waived off.

For regular faculty members of NSUT/any Institution of Government of NCT of Delhi

• Such candidates may be exempted from the entrance examination and may be called directly for the interview.
• These candidates shall be admitted against supernumerary seats.
• They have to submit the NOC from the competent authority of the respective Institution.

NSIT 2022 Registration Process Details

• Candidates who have appeared for JEE Main 2022 and satisfy all the NSIT eligibility criteria can register for Joint Admission Counselling.
• Candidates will have to register online before the first round of counselling. No student can register after the counselling procedure starts.
• Candidates will have to mention their JEE Main 2022 Score, along with details about the qualifying examination and other personal details.
• Candidates will also have to submit a registration fee of Rs. 1200/- through Credit Card or Internet Banking.
• Once the applicant pays the registration fee, the candidate will have to build his profile by entering Registration Details, JEE Main Roll Number, etc. JEE Main Roll number will be the students “User-ID”.
• The candidate will have to take a print of the Application form and the head of the school that the student last attended must duly attest it. He/she will have to submit the same during verification of the document.

NSIT Registration Process Choice Filling

The complete process of NSIT Application Form 2022 is given below:

• Candidates will get the opportunity to fill the preference list for subjects offered in the Institute.
• During the seat allotment process, if seats are available, candidates might get a seat of higher preference to the more preferred subject.
• Once the list is submitted, changes cannot be made. Candidate should be very careful before submitting the preference list.
• If a candidate wants to opt-out of the Up-gradation policy after getting a particular subject, he/she can do so by informing the JAC.

NSIT currently known as NSUT, was established in the year 1983 and is recognized by UGC. The University is approved by AICTE and offers UG, PG and PhD programs in numerous specializations. The most famous program is BTech in Computer Science. NSIT is ranked at 79 for engineering and 150-200 overall by NIRF. NSIT Admission process is online through their website. NSUT Delhi accepts exams like JEE mains , Gate and many more. NSIT Delhi fees is about INR 1,66,000 for the 1st year of the B.Tech program. • Hostel : The hostel is there in the campus for both girls and boys with spacious rooms and all basic facilities. Mess facility is also there for students. Common room, games, Wi-Fi connection, badminton court, TT rooms are there for students in the hostel.
• Sports: The campus has sports facilities for students to remain fit and healthy. It has a gym, 2 basketball courts, 2 volleyball courts, 2 tennis courts, running tracks, cricket ground, football ground and many more.
• Canteen: The University has 4 canteens that served hygienic food to students at reasonable rates.
• Housing: The College has a facility of housing for employees as well as staff members.
• Guest House: A guest house is there in the campus that has all modern facilities with high security for making the stay comfortable.
• Shopping: The College has many shops that are located all around the campus which makes shopping easier for students.
• Labs: The Labs are well-equipped for students to perform necessary experiments and operations.

• College infrastructure is not that good , but the college has a vibe for study
• Faculty are good in nsut , campus life is fun if you have friends

What I didn’t like

• There are some strict rules in college life
• Marking system is not good , some facilities cut marks without any reason

I took my jee exam and got rank 6572 in Jee mains and got my admission to nsut college. Some seniors suggested this college. One of my cousins was also in the same college and the coding environment is so good in nsut.

Unfolding nsut to the core

• Infrastructure is great. The campus has a lush green vibe and you will find most of the campus quite and empty
• connectivity is very great as college is nearby metro station and everything like stores, malls, airport, railway station etc are nearby only
• faculty are average as they are not very concerned if you are learning or not and some of them are not even that qualified
• College is increasing fees and intake of childrens every year resulting in degradation in students quality and increase competition

Campus size and infrastructure are top notch and the connectivity through the metro is also good. The nearest metro station is Dwarka mor which is roughly 500 meters from the college. The curriculum is great, coding subjects are there in every branch whether tech or non-tech. Admin is strict in academics and attendance though. Admissions start over 96 percentile for general candidates keeping that branch will be mechanical or biotech

Awesome college

• I like the infrastructure of the college . Since it has APJs room affiliated with good interactive screens , fully air conditioned rooms.
• I also like the campus life . Good to go for morning and evening walk in the mid of the green environment .
• I dislike the quality of the food of the canteen .
• I dislike the teaching methods of the faculty.

Following were the factors that made me choose the college - 1. The college is a tier-1 government college. 2. It has a good placement record. 3. It is affiliated with good technology and interactive classrooms. 4. The campus is very good. It has greenery and a very good environment. 5. Infrastructure is also good.

NSUT Review fair

• The campus infrastructure is the best of NSUT. It's totally worth exploring and going at roams in nighttime as well.
• The crowd of this college is fabulous and totally helpful and really really fun.
• Some of the faculties are not very helpful at times and really rude too
• The placement rates are going down for this college as well.

I cracked JEE mains to enter this college via JAC counselling. The college was tier 1 when I entered it and had a great NIRF ranking too at that time with great placement records. The campus was also great along with the faculties and students.

NSUT THE DREAM COLLAGE

Nsut is one of the oldest engineering colleges in Delhi. After researching abt job placements campus life it was an obvious choice for me as it checked all my boxes. The campus is big beautiful and green.

A new journey

• Infrastructure of college is very nice . AC study rooms and classes . Seperate blocks for each department and very supportive faculty
• Affordable and nice food inside campus in paid canteens and amul parlours
• Beautiful birds including peacock usually gets spotted inside campus
• Too much greenary. Sometimes feel like jungle
• Very hot in summers in delhi . So roaming in campus feels very uneasy

Firstly the location of the college is very good... everything which is for student's needs is available nearby. Moreover, the metro station is very near to the college at walking distance. Facilities at the college are quite good including sports and a library. Good infrastructure and very enthusiastic students. Student clubs offer opportunities to develop personally. Moreover, placements are nice. Selection is based on JEE mains score. No other way to get in.

NSUT - my dream college

• The college is filled with greenry and beautiful peacocks which make the campus look extremely beautiful also environment friendly
• The campus includes all kind of resources for your activities such as gym for fitness, triple story library for study purposes and many more
• The fees has been increasing drastically in the past years despite being a government college
• The faculties are highly qualified but they are not much interested in the teaching part of their job though they can answer all your queries

So I wanted to get a college within Delhi since I have a Delhi quota so it would help me get a better college. I had three main options IIIT Delhi, dtu, and NSUT out of which IIIT had just double the fees so I decided to avoid it NSUT is located in Dwarka and connected to all transportation easily unlike DTU which is in the outskirts made me go for NSUT as DTU and NSUT are mostly identical. To get into my college I had to clear the mains exam and score about 95 percentile to just land into the college through the JAC counselling

An enriching journey at NSUT

• One of the best thing about this collage is their events , fests . During events students can work on their skills with the help of their seniors During events students enjoy to their fullest and make their best collage memory
• Faculty are very knowledgeable and kind , they are always ready to help you . They help us with their connections .
• Infrastructure is not quite decent in this collage . This collage spread across in 150 acres but most of their lands are empty , they can use those land for making for labs and classrooms . This is one of those I dislike about this collage
• Attendance rule is very strict in this collage , 75% is mandatory attendance for appearing in exams . This is one of the worst rule in this collage . I think they should relax this rule a lit bit so that student can work on their skills

I chose this collage because in this college I was getting one of the best branches as per my JEE rank, this college provides many opportunities to grow. All the faculty members are very knowledgeable in their subjects and very helpful. You get admission to this collage as per your JEE rank.

Dreams of many engineers NSUT review

• The environment and greenery of my college I like the most the infrastructure is well maintained there is zero pollution inside the college You will feel like you are in mughal garden when you visit nsut.
• faculties of nsut is also very well it vary student to student that how they use faculty roadmap if you are smart enough then this faculty is best faculty for you.
• strict checking during exam time this is the thing that I dislike the most students do not get good marks .
• college fest which I also dislike that they cancel most of the fest many time only this things I dislike.

Many aspects inspired me to choose this college is it ranks in the top 10 engineering colleges in India and this is also a government college. The admission process is that we all have to take the exam called jee mains then JAC is the counselling committee through which we need to take admission where all the cutoff and merit are there There are a total 5 rounds and 1 spot round then our rank decides that which branch we will get before that we need to fill the branch preference that what branch we want to choose then our rank decides our branch.

My review about NSUT

• friendly behaviour of seniors who are always helping
• Campus life and the beautiful campus to enjoy the college life with friends
• The fees can be big turnoff because since it's a government college the fees should be lower
• Not all classrooms are air conditioned.

I was already determined right after my JEE result that I would take a seat in either NSUT or DTU. I had come across the name of this college from many YouTube videos and also my parents. The important factor why I chose NSUT over DTU was the travelling time.

New Delhi:  Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT), New Delhi is inviting applications for admission to its PhD program offered in various areas of specialization for the academic session 2022-23 (winter semester). The last date to apply online is November 12, 2022. 

As per  NSUT Delhi , the admission window for PhD program is open for those candidates who have completed their master’s degree in the required field of study with at least 60% marks or equivalent grades. The degree should be from any UGC-recognised university.

Minimum Academic Requirements: Candidates must have appeared in & passed the AIEEE 2012 exam. Candidates must have passed any of the following exams along with 60 per cent aggregate marks in PCM and English as the medium of study. The exams are – C_B_S_E Board S_S_C_E exam/ I_S_C_E council exam/any other exam equivalent to these two exams. Minor class candidates will get marks relaxation as per Govt. rule.

Essential Criteria for Age: There is no minimum age requirement.

Registration Procedure as mentioned in NSIT Application Form: Candidates need to register there names on the official website of NSIT http://www.nsit.nic.in/. for counseling. To register they need to produce all the AIEEE details required, DOB details, ID details, previous educational qualification details and also the counseling fee details. After producing these details the candidates will require to provide some other important details. After completion of the process they will need to state their choics of Engg. branch. After the step of successful registration a module containing all the important detaisl will appear in the log in acc of the candidate. the module will show registration details, choice of Engg branch etc. Cnadidates will also get the facility to edit their choice and acc password.

NSUT admission 2024 , is determined by the candidate's merit in their last qualifying exam along with valid entrance exam scores. The exams accepted by the university for admission are JEE Main, CUET, GATE, CAT, etc. These national-level tests are used to determine NSUT Delhi admissions, which are then followed by a counselling process. Candidates are chosen by the university for its BTech programme based on their JEE Main scores and JAC Delhi counselling. The seat allocation will be based on the JEE Main scores, the availability of seats, the reservation criteria, etc., and there will be 5 rounds of counselling. Students are admitted to the university's MBA programme based on their CAT scores, followed by CMAC counselling. Through COAP counselling, NSUT chooses students for admission to the MTech programmes. Additionally, the institute itself administers the written test and PI round for the NSUT PhD admission process.

Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSUT), New Delhi now called the Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT), is an autonomous institution established under the Government of India, New Delhi, in 1983. It is one of the premier institutes that impart quality education in the fields of engineering, technology, science, humanities, social sciences and management. Since its inception, NSUT New Delhi has expanded in leaps and bounds and ranks as one of the top engineering colleges in India, that have excelled in technical education and research, not only at the national level but also internationally. The institute offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs in technology and management to eligible candidates. NSUT New Delhi admissions are done on the basis of a national-level entrance test followed by counselling processes. Graduates from the Netaji Subhas University of Technology New Delhi get placed in reputed national and international companies, MNCs, and Software firms like Amazon, Jio Reliance, KPMG, and Maruti Suzuki to name a few.

• Visit the official website and register online using your name, date of birth and gender.
• A unique 7-digit registration number is generated through which the candidates need to log in to the candidate portal
• After logging in, the form needs to be filled in with the required details followed by uploading the scanned images of the signature and photograph.
• The student needs to pay the NSUT Delhi application fee of Rs 1000 through a credit/debit card as the last step.
• Once the payment is done successfully, the candidate needs to take a printout of the same for future verification processes.
• It should be noted that there are different NSUT Delhi application forms to be filled out for different programmes.

How to get admission to NSUT Delhi for various courses in 2024?

Getting admission to NSUT Delhi requires minimum eligibility criteria of passing class 12 with the given aggregate from recognized boards. However, mostly all the selections are done on the basis of the cut-offs set for competitive exams (JEE Main for B.Tech/ CAT or GATE for M.Tech/MBA) every academic year. The applicants are required to register themselves for the exams through online portals and after payment of application fees and other relevant documents, the candidates need to wait for the declaration of the ranks. Based on that, the candidates can apply to the course of choice through the institute's website.

NSUT New Delhi offers undergraduate courses to foreign nationals/ Persons of Indian Origin/NRIs/Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) through Direct Admission of Students Abroad (DASA). The selected students are provided with a Provisional Admission letter by DASA MNNIT, Allahabad, which is required at the time of admission. The candidates are required to report at the given time (can check from the NSUT website) at the main auditorium, where they get admitted directly to the programs after producing all the necessary documents along with the exam scorecard and payment of fees.

NSUT New Delhi International Admission 2024 Eligibility Criteria

• Admissions to B.E. programs for foreign students are based on the JEE Main scores followed by the minimum qualification of clearing the 10+2 exams from a recognized board.
• They should have a passport and a valid student’s visa issued by Indian Missions abroad which they can obtain by producing the provisional admission letter and other relevant documents.
• A medical fitness certificate is also needed at the time of reporting.

Even though the Netaji Subhas University of Technology provides the students technical education under the affiliation of the University of Delhi, the admission to any of the programmes is done on the basis admission regulations laid by NSUT itself. The admission to all programmes, i.e. undergraduate and postgraduate programmes are done based on various factors, such as common entrance tests, i.e. JEE and GATE, Group Discussions, Interviews and in certain cases, NSUT entrance tests are also conducted. The students will have to go through the entire admission process for the programme of their choice at the Netaji Subhas University of Technology. The admission process for each of the programmes is conducted differently, therefore, before applying for the programme the student must go through all the information as well as the regulations of the college for admissions, that has been provided by NSUT.

NSUT B.Tech Eligibility Criteria 

Being an institution/university that provides technical education to the students, it takes admissions to the B.Tech programme as has been directed by the Government of India. The candidates who wish to pursue the programme at the university must first ensure that they satisfy the NSUT B.Tech eligibility criteria . The primary eligibility criteria that the candidates require to have passed the class 12 board examination in the stream of science. Along with the academic qualification, it is important for the candidates to have a CRL Rank in the JEE Mains (Paper I) . The admission to the programmes is done purely on the basis of the rank that has been achieved by the student in the JEE Mains examination. The candidates must also ensure that they have obtained a minimum aggregate score of 60% or higher in the class 12 board examination as well, in order to pass the eligibility criteria for the programme.

NSUT B.Tech Application Process 

Since admission to the programme is done on the basis of the Joint Admission Counselling (JAC), the students will be required to go through the NSUT application process. The application to the programmes is done with the candidate visiting the official website of JAC Delhi and depositing a non-refundable amount as the registration-cum-counselling fee of Rs 1,500 for B.Tech programmes. They will have to register for the programme using the JEE (Main) Application Number as well as the name mentioned in the JEE Admit Card. After the payment of the registration-cum-counselling fee, the candidates will need to provide the college with details such as JEE (Mains) Application Number, DoB, Nationality and Result Status (Cleared 12th or not). Next, they will need to select the branch and the University or Institute that they wish to pursue their higher education programme, after which, they must take out a printout of the filled-in choices. Once the choices have been closed and locked, the students will have to wait for the seat allotment process for B.Tech, which will take place as per the performance of the candidate in the JEE Mains exam. As per the dates that have been mentioned by JAC Delhi the applicants will receive the results of the seat allotment processes. The students who are satisfied with the allotment will be able to freeze their allotment and if they wish to take a different allotment, they will have to wait for the right seat allotment and freeze the one that they are satisfied with. 

NSUT B.Tech Selection Process 

Once the seats have been allotted and the candidates are satisfied with the seat that has been provided to them, the students will be asked to visit the University or Institute that they have been allotted with all the original documents along with the self-attested copies of the same, that have been requested by the University for the admission to the programme that they wish to pursue. Among the documents that are required by the candidates include the receipt of the payment of the admission fee, the online registration form that has been signed by both the candidate and the parent/guardian, a printout of the filled-in-choices, 3 coloured passport-size photographs, a printout of the JEE (Mains) admit card and Rank card, class 12 board examination mark sheet, printed letter of Seat of Allotment, Class 10 certificate for DoB proof and if applicable, documents proving the candidates admission through reservation category. After the document verification process, the selected candidates or provisional candidates will be asked to pay the remaining fee, which will confirm the admission of the candidate to the programme.

NSUT BBA Eligibility Criteria 

To be eligible for the undergraduate programme in management, the applicants need to fulfil the NSUT BBA eligibility criteria. The candidates will be offered admission if they have cleared the class 12 board examination with a minimum aggregate score of 60% in the qualifying examination. The students who are currently appearing for their qualifying examination will be able to apply for the programme as well, however, they will need to provide the college with the necessary documents proving the eligibility of the candidates. Among the subjects, the candidates need to have passed the class 12 board examination in the subject of English. 

NSUT BBA, MBA, MBA IEV and M.Tech Application Process 

The candidates who are interested in pursuing the undergraduate management programme will need to complete the NSUT BBA application process. Those interested must visit the official website of NSUT  and search for the online application form for BBA under the admission section of the website. After the completion of the application form, the candidates will be asked to pay the application form fee via online mode of Rs 1,000 for the general category, meanwhile, the applicants from the reservation category need to pay ₹500. Without the payment of the application form fee, the admission of the candidate is liable to be cancelled. The candidates will need to provide the college with a printed application form at the time of admission.

NSUT BBA Selection Process 

The Netaji Subhas University of Technology selects candidates for its programmes as per their performance as well as the scores obtained by them in the qualifying examination. The candidates will be selected for the courses as per the “Best Four” subjects, which also includes the subject of English. The University will be releasing a merit list for the same. 

NSUT MBA Eligibility Criteria 

Those who are interested in taking admission to the postgraduate management programme, they are required to meet the NSUT MBA eligibility criteria . The first criterion needed for the admission to the programme is to have cleared the undergraduate programme qualifying examinations with a minimum aggregate score obtained of 60%. The students who are appearing in the qualifying examinations can also apply for the programme, however, it is their duty to provide the college with the documents as soon as the results have been declared. The interested applicants are also required to carry a valid CAT score as well. 

NSUT MBA Selection Process 

After the completion of the application processes, the shortlisted candidates will be shortlisted for the NSUT MBA selection process . As per the regulations, the college will select the students as per their performance in the CAT  exams. Once the candidates have been shortlisted, they will be asked to appear for a Group Discussion along with a Personal Interview. On the basis of their performance in all the three categories, the candidates will be shortlisted and offered admission to the programme via a merit list. 

NSUT MBA IEV Eligibility Criteria 

Candidates will be able to take admission to the postgraduate programme in management if they fulfil the NSUT MBA IEV eligibility criteria . The applicants need to be a graduate with a valid graduate degree. They are also required to have obtained a minimum aggregate score of 50% in the qualifying examination. The admissions are open to the candidates who are currently appearing for their qualifying examination as well. 

NSUT MBA IEV Selection Process 

NSUT MBA IEV selection process  includes analysing the candidates in various factors such as their performance in the qualifying examination, diversity in academics, gender along with a Written Test and a Personal Interview. The candidates will need to perform well in these as these will be the sole guiding processes that will guarantee the admission of the candidate to the programme of their choice. 

NSUT M.Tech Eligibility Criteria 

The interested candidates who wish to take admission to the postgraduate technical programme will need to satisfy the NSUT M.Tech eligibility criteria . The candidates need to ensure that they have passed their graduation in the relevant subjects or programmes to the programmes that they wish to pursue their masters. They will also need to ensure that they have obtained a minimum aggregate score of 60%. The candidates need to ensure that they have a degree in the respective courses as they wish to pursue in the pg degrees, for instance, the students who wish to pursue M.Tech in Mechanical or Electronics programme are required to have a B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or any other equivalent degree to the programme. Along with the academic qualification, the candidates also need to ensure that they have appeared for GATE exam and carry a valid GATE score for the respective course. The college gives preference to the candidates who carry a valid GATE score over those who do not. The students who do not carry a valid GATE score, they will be asked to sit for an entrance written test, which will be the calculating factor for the admission to the programme.

NSUT M.Tech Selection Process 

The students who are interested in taking admission in the M.Tech programmes of the college, the students will need to go through NSUT M.Tech Selection process . The college selects the students for its programmes in M.Tech through their performance in GATE or Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. Those who carry a valid score in GATE will gather a rank in the merit list that will be released the Netaji Subhas University of Technology. The candidates will be offered admission to the programmes in the order of their rank in the merit list. The other students will be selected for the programmes on the basis of their performance in the written entrance test conducted by NSUT.

You can get a scholarship at Netaji Subhas University of Technology, New Delhi based on your academic performance but I am afraid there is no scholarship solely based on reservation. The university offers Delhi government merit cum means a scholarship under which a student must have more than 65% and no backlogs. Apart from this, if the income is less than 1 lakh then there is a rebate on full tuition fees, if the income is between 1 and 2.5 lakhs then there is a rebate on 50% of tuition fees and if the income is between 2.5 and 5 lakhs then there is a rebate on 25% of tuition fees.

Netaji Subhas University of Technology New Delhi offers two specialisations in B.Design. The Department of Design handles the admission, curriculum and other activities for this course. The two specialisations are Bachelor Of Design (Product Design) and Bachelor Of Design (Fashion Technology). To get admission, you shall have cleared class 12 from the science stream from a recognised board of education. Admission to the B.Des course is offered based on entrance examination results followed by a counselling process conducted by the university.
